JUDGY is one person in Cairo who does two jobs that are usually done by two studios, and does them in an order that matters.
I started in 2019 building WordPress sites for Egyptian businesses, and spent the first two years doing what most developers do: taking a design someone else had made and finding out, at build time, that it could not be built. The typography had no scale. The Arabic was an afterthought. The mobile layout did not exist.
So I learned the other half. Now the identity and the store are made by the same person in the same weeks, which means the logo was drawn knowing it would appear at 32 pixels in a header, and the product page was designed knowing what the packaging looks like.
Branding is the half I care most about, and it is the half I am building the studio towards. Development is what pays for the education, and it also keeps the design honest — an identity that has survived a real checkout is a different thing from one that has only survived a PDF.
01 — How I work

An English layout mirrored into RTL is the single most common thing I get hired to undo. Arabic sets the line lengths, the leading and the copy; English mirrors cleanly from it, and the reverse never does.

Not a target, a constraint. It decides the stack before anything is designed, and it is the reason there is no page builder anywhere in this studio’s work.

Ten options is a way of making the client do the deciding. You get two, each shown in real application, and once one is chosen I do not show you the other again.

Every project starts with a written read on what is actually costing you sales. Sometimes it says the site is fine and the traffic is wrong. You keep the document either way.

Source files, theme code, and any font licence in your name. No hosting lock-in, no monthly fee to keep using your own logo.
